THOMAS DAILY INTERVIEW MIT CHRISTIAN GAISER: "WIR HABEN DEN BESTEN STRESSTEST BESTANDEN, DEN ES GIBT"

Thomas Daily published an interview with Christian Gaiser for a comprehensive article on our business performance during the first and second Covid-19 lockdowns and which expansion plans numa has for the future:

numa says it has weathered the Corona crisis very well so far. It has benefited from the fact that the current twelve properties could very easily be switched from short-stay to mid-stay and thus to a more residential-like use, said CEO Christian Gaiser in an interview with TD.

In spring, for example, an occupancy rate of 90 % was achieved despite the lockdown. Also in November, according to Gaiser, the German properties achieved an occupancy of 67% to 93 % and a RevPAR of 36 to 55 EUR -- many times above the hotel industry average and still clearly above the average of the serviced apartment sector.

According to Gaiser, 15 larger projects with a total of 500 rooms have been signed. 300 of them are already in operation, among others in Berlin, Munich, Prague and Vienna. numa is also currently negotiating the signing of almost 2,000 units.
